Castlevania Roguelike

Castlevania Roguelike is a roguelike inspired by the Castlevania universe, developed for the 7DRL competition in 2005, and over time transformed into an excellent role-playing game.

There are six character classes that you can choose from: vampire killer, darkness renegade, vanquisher wizard, souls' master, man-beast, and knight. Each one of them has its own abilities and special skills.

As in all the games of this genre, in Castlevania Roguelike the maps are generated randomly, creating different levels in which you can find lots of enemies, some of them already well-known in the saga, like skeletons that throw bones, giant wolves, zombies, etc.

Naturally, you won't only find enemies in the game, your adventures will also lead you to find different objects, artifacts, armors, and weapons, all from the Castlevania universe.

As the images show, the game has the graphics of a Gameboy Advance game, or of the classic Symphony of the Night. In fact, some of the sprites used in the game are very similar to those used in Symphony of the Night.

Castlevania Roguelike is an excellent roguelike. The graphics make it appealing, and it still offers an old-style difficult challenge. A true great game for those who like this genre.
